Taking care of other people's things!

Thank author of this post/commentI was having a very peaceful night chatting with a friend when all of a sudden I heard a crashing sound and my mother, father and brother where so alarmed. I later found out that my newly purchased Sony Playstation Portable slipped from my brother's hand. I was initially shocked and anger at how this gadget which I valued so much and cared for in handling just broke into separate pieces. All of a sudden my brother would just clumsily mishandle it. I raised my voice and gave him a piece of my mind for his irresponsibleness towards my stuff. Thank God that the only thing that was affected by the crash from our cabinet to the floor was the UMD unit. It literally won't stay in place now and I have to put a tape to temporarily remedy it as it keeps on prying open. Thank the heavens, that the actual gadget wasn't much affected. I eventually calmed down. My brother gave me his debit card and told me to fix the PSP but I refuse and gave it back to him. A sorry would be nice, but I don't want to force him to do so. He went to sleep early which is only natural especially if you are guilty of something and got caught with it.

I have already given him the permission to play with my PSP and fully trusted him that he would take care of it. But after this scenario, I don't know. AS much as I want to get angry with him, I can't. Family is far more important than a simple accident, or maybe it was lucky for him that the gadget was still functional. I wouldn't know what would happen if it got completely broken.

Oh my, good thing that your newly purchased Sony Playstation Portable was still working well. It is not easy to just let go of a certain item as costly as that. Your brother probably had a hard time dealing with guilt he had after he dropped your Sony Playstation Portable.

It is normal for you to get angry because it is not that easy to earn money buying for such expensive stuff. But it was an accident.
