| Microsoft Fixes Hotmail I signed into my hotmail account and Microsoft had a nice warning message up... they claimed to have made things better, faster, etc.The result is that it is MUCH SLOWER and USELESS NOW! Sometimes I can actually read an email message now. Most of the time when I click on inbox or a message nothing happens. The real improvement is when you click reply. You get the reply form and can edit the subject and who you are sending the the reply to. The big problem is that you can't actually type in your reply! ahahhahaha Well, you get what you pay for and when its from Microsoft, regardless of the price it ain't worth it! |
| Well, that thought you a lesson right? Next time, try looking or research for fixes and upgrades online and see what other people has to say about these updates and releases. Like a boy who wants to have a high outcome in his exams you must review your lessons hard, and what happened to you is the complete opposite of which. Your problem can also be caused by a virus, malware, or spyware which causing your computer to slow down. How about your internet connection? There can also be a problem with that or one of your hardware. |

| That is exactly what I did! hahah to Microsoft. Most email services let you forward your email... but not hotmail (unless it is within their network). How can such closed minded bumbling idiots have such financial success? |
| The answer or your last question Eddie from Misoula is that Microsoft is not that completely successful. They may have been successful with the operating system and software applications industry but not online e-mail service providing. They have a very lame website which already lost to Google and Yahoo, that is maybe the reason that they want to but Yahoo out to regain their glory. GMAIL is great and packed with features. |

| I haven't tried hotmail's services Eddie of Misoula. I have been a previous Yahoo user and after a while got tired of their spam and shifted to Gmail which has a better control over spam. The themes are also great and has so many applications from Google. I believe Google is a better e-mail service provider rather than Yahoo. How about yours? what e-mail service provider have you chosen and so far how are things going? |
| opposite of extremely angry is the feeling that i felt when I shifted from Yahoo to Gmail at the first few weeks. My yahoo account is already cluttered of hundreds of spam that arrives each day. Yeah Jake is right about google having a better spam control but even if that's the case I still receive hundreds not in a day but in a week, quite fair compared to yahoomail but still very annoying |
| you could have ran into this problem eddie because the website could have still been under construction and therefor was running slow, or because people were trying to sign in when it was being fixed and couldn't access it, so when it was up and running everyone went to the site at the same time and it caused it to run slow. |
| I know that if you do not check your account for awhile, that it fills up with junk mail and than they suspended your account and you have to get a new one. |
| It is about time hotmail had been fixed by the Microsoft!! Oh my goodness. Could you imagine how long it had taken them, just to be able to finalize the initial phase of the entire scenario? I am just glad that it is finally over, hopefully. |
