| very serious trouble with a neighbour.. need advice I really want some advice. I live in a small complex (seven units in total) and lived here for 6 months, when I moved in this one neighbour (who is about 60) just gave me a bad feeling from the start, and told me she wanted to get her son a unit here, and since has targeted me for harassment I truly beleive she is trying to harrass me into moving. She knocks on my door daily when she knows my daughter (who is 2yrs old) is sleeping, I asked her to stop as she's waking my child, she just said she'd 'knock louder', she opens and slams her door waking my daughter up to 16 times a night, she has threatened me, my family, my guests, my daughter. she told all the other residents not to trust me as I've put tons of complaints in about her and other neighbours to the office (I've never put a complaint in about anyone) none of the neighbours talk to me now as they beleive her as she talks to everyone and as I've always kept to myself. she told the neighbours I am disrespectful because my bf's car leaks oil and I won't clean it up. my bf car does not leak oil, there was a HUGE puddle of oil under his car, the oil dripped up the footpath, we followed it and there was a dumped oil bottle up the street, the same night his car was broken into and car damaged. she leaves nasty notes on his car and my families cars, my mail has been getting stolen for four months including a new credit card ordered and 400$ stolen from my accnt. and there's much much more. I don't know what to do. I don't believe she'll stop. I am upset neighbours won't talk to me because of her lies and beleive her. I thought of writing a note to residents saying I am asking neighbours to keep an eye out and report any harrassment stating I've been harrassed and in what ways (not mentioning her name in letter) I want to do this so other residents know what's going on, so they know I have not put complaints in about them. but I'm worried if they don't beleive me they will show it to her and it will make it worse. I don't want it getting worse. She is so obsessed with her garden I've even thought of going and pouring salt all over it I want revenge so bad but I haven't retaliated incase anyone sees me! I don't know what to do. advice PLEASE!!! |

Your neighbor is a total freak, an old torturer type of a lady. I think if you have the capability of living the place, then do so. It would be best if you would still keep it up to her as to whatever it is that she is doing would probably because of her lack of commonsense. She's too old for you to deal with. You need to pack your things and move out of that place. |
