How to not let negative energy of people bother you? Popular kids in high school

So there are those annoying and extremely rude and mean 'popular' people in my school and it really ticks me off when they are mean to my friends and I. Today in class everyone was talking really loud and when the teacher yelled at the class, this 'popular' guy yelled really loud and blamed it all on me and my friends. He always is doing this to other kids in my class, hes just a jerk and he keeps making loud rude comments all the time but I just hate it when he is mean to me and my friends. I keep thinking about it and it is really bugging me! How can I learn to deal with this guy and how do I keep it from bothering me? Thanks!
