| Yahoo! Answers: What's wrong with my scalp? It has little bumps all over it that just showed up out of nowhere. They are itchy and painful. I constantly scratch them because it seems I can remove them with my nails when they get a bit hard... It's really frustrating... It started after I finished taking doxy100 for acne on my face. Face cleared up, but now it seems I have these acne on my scalp. It itches and annoys me. I really need help. :( |
| Maybe you are using shampoo that causes seborrhea and leads to acne on your scalp. You can also try to check all other products that you are using on your hair and scalp to find out what is causing all these acne. You would need to use anti-fungal or anti-dandruff shampoo like Nizoral or Tar shampoo that you can buy from Body Shop. My dad was able to get rid of his dandruff by using this anti-dandruff shampoo from Body Shop. |
| I think it is really frustrating to have something on your head that irritates it to the the extreme. And you better be picking up the best shampoo for your hair. Especially now that there are lots of not so good ones that would just worsen the itch and the irritation you had in your head because of the chemicals included in the shampoo you are using. Check on it really well. |

That is so true. It is not good to go for harsh hair and scalp products, for it may not just make your scalp really itchy, some of them might cause hair fall and total hair damage! You better check on some alternative products. Why not go organics instead of staying on such poorly made, chemically based products that would surely not do good to your body. Go for what is best for your health and wellness. |
| We3ll, so sorry to hear that. Yes, I agree that it might have been cause by the shampoo you are using or it could also be the repelling reaction of the acne towards the medicines that you took in. I also agree with Fiona. I think it would be a lot better if you just go organic. That way, there won't be any side effects. I hope that you'll get well. |

You are not alone with that kind of burden. You see, I do have the same problem before. But what I did is that I do focus on the factors that might trigger the irritation of my scalp. And then I try to find some solutions to my problem. Like what Fiona said here, using way better organic hair products would do for you. There are lots of those online. Just browse on them and you'll sure to find one. |
