Is this a sign of what is to come? - In a Snit
Is this a sign of what is to come?I read in the paper today that the Associated Press did an investigation of charges that Sarah Palin had Alaska pay for her children to travel with her.According to the story, she has filled out travel and expense reports claiming a total of $21.012 for her three daughters' 64 one-way and 12 round-trip tickets for commercial flights since taking office in December 2007. Palin claims her kids were invited to attend or participate in Governor activities. Funny how the people putting on the activities knew nothing about inviting them. I guess that is what will happen if she gets elected to the VP job. Just one more corrupt politician getting what she thinks is due her.
Gosh why don't you tell us something new... something that hasn't been done by all the politicians of the last 100+ years!
I have lived with corruption all my life! The air I breathe is the same as those of the most corrupt people in the world. And that news is just small I'm telling you. Have you heard of billions of dollars going to an official's personal purse? A small bridge here that will cost the production here about a few hundred thousands will be given a budget of millions, you know, the government gives a generous tip!
That is true. Politicians nowadays are like that, corrupt and very much into making money out of the people's taxes. Do you think there would come a time when people would stop doing those things? That people who would run for a position in the government would only think of public service and not to steal money from people. I just wish that this things happen, anybody can change, right?
