The Villain In Your Fairytale

Thank author of this post/commentIt is funny to be in a situation when you are being told stories of some sort, and you know that those stories are not real. Somehow you want to break the continuous chain of lies and never ending fairytale that you are hearing but after an attempt of making things right once and for all, it turned out to be that you are the villain and the bad guy. How would you feel?

I tried giving him a clue that I know he is lying. From the very beginning I get really disappointed with how he would tell stories not just to me but to my family. Claiming he had this and he had done that, it is just irritating. But well, I promised not to myself and to him as well that I will zip my mouth from now on. I see no use in trying to help him break the chain of lies that he have.

You are asking me if his lies ruined the friendship that we had, well I can say that somehow there is a gap between me and him. I don't know, maybe he didn't like the idea of me being so dubious about him. You just cannot blame me, if you know this friend I am talking about you would understand. But still, I cannot blame him as well, because he probably got offended in the process. But then again, I had my stand. Never again shall I drop a word about anything with him. Just to end it all.

You have two choices, tell him the truth or let him be. Since you already tried with the first one, all that is left is the latter. Just keep your fingers cross that somewhere along the way that he would change his ways.

If I were put to that situation, I wouldn't be bothered by it. Rather, I would make fun of it really in order to come in good terms with such seemingly shameful fact that he likes lying. You've already done your part and the rest is up to him. Not to mention some bad habits are really hard to remove.

Thank author of this post/comment"Keeping Those Thoughs Inside Instead "

We tend to be too irritated with some bad habits people have, the same to our bad attitudes too. But well, we can just try to ignore people's bad habits if we felt like our concerns are not that needed. We have to be true to ourselves, and to know that our criticism will not always be taken in a good manner, then we can just try to keep those inside us.

The word here is respect. Sure you might have an argument or two with a friend but after realizing what worked and what not, then I suggest just let people be. Have you ever think if it happened the other way around, what would you feel to get busted at your own game. Not everyone is good in handling criticism or opinion, and all that is left is respect, even if your friend is disrespectful for lying. Someday they might eventually outgrew their flaws. keeps your fingers crossed.

Thank author of this post/comment"All Of Us Have Issues"

Time helps people think. Think of the good and the bad sides of them. And in the process we do realize that we wronged a person and we try to make it up to them.

And yes, all of us are far from being perfect, in every sense of life.

But then again, we have individual issues in life that we face each day. And what is important is that we do not cause anyone troubles because of our selfish, greedy ways.
