I am to go home from work when suddenly I fell on my knees and realised that my shoes got broke. I hate how the people who witnessed how I fall all laughed. They all looked at me and started yelling and laughing. I hate this day. Why are people like that, what is so funny when you see somebody get hurt and probably got injured? I am mad, really really mad.

If I were at your position at that moment I would just let the situation pass and laugh also. That is an accident and you should not be ashamed about your fall. Those people who laughed at you are nothing. They are just a bunch of nonsense at the background of the scene and forget about them. Just go on and rise up. Continue walking and do not mind those guys.

"Schadenfreude"

That is Schadenfreude. A German word for taking delight or pleasure from other's pain and misery. Don't act like you are not guilty of it as well, mostly when we see someone fall over because of their utter clumsiness we can't help but laugh. That is the first emotion that kicks in, I don't know why but in the back of your mind it is laughable then and there will your mind adjust to it that it is not funny especially if it is that worst.
