Exactly, the right word for that! It really irritates me when I get to see the newspaper everyday! terrorism in Mindanao, unemployment, starvation and people dying because they can no longer protect themselves from calamities..it's such a pity. The Philippines could have been a better country, with its white sand beaches, good tropical weather and hard working people who can speak various languages. We are professionals here with double majors working so hard, but look at us? Our leaders aren't exactly doing their best, as what they promised. Some become more greedy..and the worst? when it comes to choosing leaders, we seek for the lesser evil.

I think that saying that they can be, this is the wrong way to describe them. Politicians are parasites. They feed off of the natural citizens as far as their reign would maintain.
