im mad annoyed at this. i want to know why people are like this?This forum post has messages dated from 07/03/10 through 10/24/11, please be sure to read all the messages. | im mad annoyed at this. i want to know why people are like this? well its like i'm super nice all the time. i have friends yeah. but id like more.I mean im soo nice to people i just dont know why all the mean kids have all the friends and im stuck with the people i have to chase after, you know what i mean? when i get into a fight with friends i always have to go back to them. When im nice to people they see it, but they dont act. but when other people are..they get all the attention..all the photo comments..all the"Omg..Your super pretty" on facebook pictures.. or something. When really there not all that great(No jealousy attached) i dont get it. Im not ugly either. I just dont get how people can have alllll these friends..and i only have a few. i do put myself out there alot..and i am ALWAYS myself no matter what.. i just dont understand.. i want to belong too. i have popular friends. But there friends dont like me for some reason. i didnt do anything to them |

Who said you need super popular friends to be happy? Who said you need a crowd just to blend in and be happy? You only have to believe in yourself. Who needs a crowd if you can have a few, true and genuine friends? Be content with them for they are the ones true to you. You can never please everybody. And do not believe everything you see on facebook, gosh, most of the people in there are real FAKE!! |

I think you are not aware of what is the true definition of "friends" or just "friendship" in general. You don't have to chase friends, you are just happy when they are there. They are also there on times of both joy and sadness.What those popular kids have are not friends but just fans, or some people who just want to ride on their glory. Try talking to this friends of yours about your concerns and if they still reject you, then start looking for REAL friends not superficial ones. |

| I believe in the saying that He, who has many friends, has no friends. Therefore, it is much better to have few friends but the true ones. I don't really need to have many friends just to be happy. All I need are people whom I can lean, who will always be there for me through ups and downs. Please take time to read the advice shared by forum members here and you'll soon find your way off to better scenarios and meeting real people, real friends.You don't need lots of "friends", you only need a few ones to truly call one. Someone who'll you'll be in sync with. Someone who would understand you and is concerned for you and your loved ones welfare. Someone who won't leave you in times where you mostly needed them. Girls can be pretty emotional and without proper support group, it would be a disaster. |

She can't be blamed for being mislead for she is still a teenager (I guess). You guys know what it was like to be one. All the knowledge and wisdom we have now was not preset before (when we were younger). so let's give her some slack. She is already experiencing what she though of these so called friends, hopefully she'll read this advices and wake up to the reality that what she have right now isn't even remotely close to true friendship or real friends. |

Just like what I always say here, people do not need numbers and collecting bunch of so called friends. Why would you need to have bunch of people whom are not attached to you, and does not consider you as a friend. And you know what, you will know if you are having true set of friends once you face great challenges in life. For only true and genuine friends would have the heart to be with you through the toughest of times. |
