| Yahoo! Answers: what to do about neighbors' cats roaming the halls of my apartme I live in an apartment building and a few people on my floor own cats and let them roam all over the floor. Normally this is only mildly annoying as I have allergies and would prefer not to be in such close proximity to cat byproduct but I can deal with it. This morning I woke up to cat poo in front of my front door. This is the second time one of the cats defecated in front of my door, and frankly I feel I need to do something about this. The problem is that I've lived here for a few months but my neighbors and their cats have been here for years. I love my neighbors, the building and my apartment otherwise and because of other circumstances there is no way I can move. I don't want trouble w/ anyone, but I don't want to wake up to cat poo that I then have to clean if I want to get out of the house. Also, there are about 5-6 apartments of people whose cats roam the hall so I have no idea whose cat actually did the dirty. What should I do? |
