| Screaming and shouting at each other I was a bit startled in my seat as I suddenly heard two voices of people screaming at top of their lungs. This made me scratch my head as to why they must scream at each other to and seemingly wanting to let the whole neighborhood know that they are arguing. This couple are on their fifties and sixties and to what I've heard this concerned about their son-in-law not being responsible to his kids (the couple's grandsons and daughters). They have been like this everytime they argue. They shout at each other like there's no tomorrow. Luckily I wasn't sleeping as this would definitely irritated the hell out of me. |

There really are those people who thinks that the streets were also a part of their homes. I used to complain about these kind of habits and would always try to focus my mind to something else. Because just like your neighbors, I also have some in our neighborhood. I just wish that I have an universal remote control that can mute those people so I won't hear them shout their lungs out. |
| "Irritating but you can't really do a thing about it"
You mentioned that they are on their fifties or sixties so I believe it is probably too late for them to change. Anger is hard thing to manage. If they have been doing this kind of argument ever since they have been together, then I believe there won't be any changing them now. Even our optimism that people can change won't help. Try to talk to them about this issue and you might probably get yourself in trouble. People don't like being criticize for something they have literally grown old with. Not to mention if they are a lot older than you, let's just say some of them thing they knows "better" when in reality they are as imperfect as anyone else. Just let it slide. If this has been bothering you quite a bit the I think this should be forwarded to the local community leaders. |
| "Addressing The Issue "
Considering that they are at their ages when the community expect them to act accordingly, it would be a little hard for the people around them to even make them realize their fault. All of us have problems with loud and foul mouthed people. You can address the issue to your neighbor in a nice way. If that won't work then you can consider reporting them to proper authorities in your place. |
