| Is it normal for my girlfriend to get jealous over my girl friends? I am here just to get some advice here in the forums. You see I recently entered a relationship. What is a bit surprising and weird at the same time is how she usually gets mad at me for hanging around with my girl friends from before. when I mean girl friends they are my friend whom are girls whom I go back from way back when. We don't do things that would make her jealous nor there is anything to hide and this is why I am okay with sometimes letting my friends hang around with us. Do you think I should let my friends go to give my current girlfriend peace? |
| "Probably Ain't Jealous "
Well, if you are not doing anything bad that might concern your girlfriend and the relationship in general then why let your friends go? Unless your girlfriend, or some of them did something, or said something awful that makes your girlfriend feel that way. I think she is not jealous with those girls, rather, she's jealous with the time you are spending with them when you are supposed to be with her. That is if you are spending much of your time with those girlfriends of yours. |
| "Insecurity?"
Well, speaking as a girl. I believe that she might be jealous specially if you are giving much more time with your "girl friends" than your actual girlfriend. You don't have to give up your friendship with them, for I won't. Personally speaking, I have my friends for way back when and I won't let them go for someone whom I just met lately just because he (my boyfriend) is not in good terms with them. I would just somehow let them be and both keep them. I just don't think that I would mix them all together in one place as that would be awkward. Maybe more time with my partner and some private time with friends. |
