Over-Thinking Things

Thank author of this post/commentI just hate it when I over-think stuff. I think I got this from my parents as they can be sometimes be a worrisome folks. They are silent but you can know that they are deep thinkers. They can range from trivial matters to serious personal ones. You can say I am much of a thinker rather than a doer. My mind is a dangerous place to be in as it plays so many things and scenarios in it. Instead of taking things just at it is I tend to speculate and objectify things and this is what most of the times get me to trouble. I somehow lack some critical things on the emotional department which may very well be my ruin. Will probably try looking for reading materials online to solve this concern.

Well, all of us have the same issues and we just finds it hard to accept. But well, we are just mere humans. With uncontrollable minds and uncontrollable thoughts flowing inside them.

But what is important is that we know what kind of judgement to have and have an open mind to accept things in a light way.

Because in this world, there will always be reasons for us to think wrongly.

The solution really is simple, don't over-think. Well, this might sound easier said than done, but it is. I used to be like this before but I somehow found a way to stop myself from this habit of mine. Take a hobby!

I just found out that listening to music and reading books entertains my mind from thinking over stuff. When your mind can't be trusted to stay clam, what you can do is to make it busy.

I used to have a hard time dealing with my thoughts and how I can get over with my feelings over some issues in the past. But as what Hanz just said, we can do something else to keep our minds free from all of those irritating thoughts and have something else to do. Just to keep our minds busy. We can let such feelings to haunt us forever or we can choose to just forger about them, little by little.

Already got one Hanz and it always works! Video games can entertain my mind not to think of problems and stress by immersing me into a world where I am the hero and up to save the galaxy. I am a self-confessed geek and I am thankful for that. When problems are waiting for you on every corner it is nice to have something to comfort you, mine is video games and my family. Although some would recommend friends, but when they are the ones bringing you the problem, it is better to have a hobby and a talk with your family.

It is good to have something to keep your mind busy. While you have video games, I for once have my children and hey are all enough to keep me busy. Thinking of how they do well in school, what would they eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and many more. Although there can be some problems brought be people, I just let them be and focus on what is truly important, my family. In the end, I don't want such problems affect my health and how I deal with my family. I have better things to do than engage in senseless problems.

Same here. I do have a family to take care of and though some people just finds it hard to even understand the situation we are in, that includes me and my husband, I do not give any attention to whatever they say. Geez, I have lots to do at home and at work and giving time to such people would be a waste of time for me.

And besides, if they are happy with what they are doing, then I am equally happy for them.
