What's with women and their shoes?

What's with women and their shoes? I recently saw mom digging out some old stuff in the storage area. I saw some old gems waiting to use again, like an old rubber shoes that uncle gave to pops but the soles tore apart. I told mom that it is better not to give it away and just fix it and I'll definitely use it. Then I saw some curious boxes and she told me that it belonged to my sister. she also mentioned that she just used it once or twice and now it is all there... cluttering valuable attic space. What is it with women and their fascination of having so many shoes or foot wear?

"Women and their shoes " As a woman myself, it is important for me to have a couple of shoes that I can mix and match with the clothes that I wear. But I do not have that strange habit of most women, hoarding lots of shoes. For me, having maximum of four pairs of shoes would be good. No need to buy too much shoes. Earning money was never easy and so I am always at the look on where I spend my money.
