Word of honor

I recently got into a fight with an old friend because he doesn't know how to value his promise. That is what I've also noticed in some of my friends. They would always promised something but in the end always ends up breaking that promise.

I want to understand them but they just don't allow me to. They go on again making up promises after coming out from a broken engagement. You would at least think that they would make up for it but what do they do, still break that second one. They are really a hopeless bunch.

That is sad Jillienne. I am sure that you got really irritated on those people who just have this habit of breaking their promises. But well, there might be some reason for them to do that. Do not be harsh on them. And besides, you called them friends, it is not good to talk about them like that, the worst, behind their back. I doubt that they are not that hopeless bunch like you are saying in here.

That is true. It is not healthy to say hurtful words towards your friends, and worst at their back. I think friends should know how to value friendship and trust towards each other. Misunderstanding are normal but as long as you know you have yourself good reasons why you have to stick on to that friendship, you and your friends would surely find a way to reconcile. Hope things are fine now for all of you.

Friendship, should one really have to make a list of what to do and what to not? Should one must be keen in complying in that rules to be considered a friend? Why not be yourself, do what you want and don't mind what others might think of you? Why be angry at your FRIEND just because he did not make it to your expectations? Why is that? I hate this cycle of expecting, being frustrated at nonsense and all.
