| Answers: Why do some people consider other people below like 25 years of age "ju I know this looks like I had no other problems but annoying people, but it´s driving me insane. Quite often people call me "kid". I don´t mind if it´s my Mom or my 55y/o boss. But if you overhear a random lady in her forties tell your boss that the one who translated her manuscript was "that kid over there" (referring to you) or someone tells you "child, you´ll change your mind when you grow up" it is extremely irritating. I´m 20 and I know I look maybe even younger than that, but why do people think they have the right to do this? I mean, I´m an independent adult, can´t they just accept me as such? |

I see no reason for you to get mad over the issue. Aren't you proud that you look much younger? But kidding aside, I actually was in a situation where you are now. People would think I am much younger because of my height. And I hate it really. Do I have to bring in my birth certificate just to prove my real age? As some would want to look younger, I would want to look more older. |
