'I am really starting to hate my dads boss!?' Your Boss

My dad works for the post office and I swear if I were my dad I would have went off on my boss already! He is so rude all the time! Like today, my car broke down so I was stranded in the middle of the freeway. My dad had to come get me and bring me to school. When he got to work, I called him to tell him I needed money for my sociology book because I haven't gotten my pay check yet. All of a sudden his boss was like, "What the hell is your problem!? First you come in late and now you're on the fkin phone! Do you know how to listen to orders!?? OH MY GOD!" To me, that is way to rude! I work too and I know that my manager would never talk to anyone like that! The reason why this is bugging me so much is because this always happens! Whenever I need my dad, his boss gets mad at him! Even when my dad stayed home to take care of me when I had a kidney stone! Theyre so annoying and my dad never does anything about it! One time my dad even went to his union because his boss didnt let him go to the hospital when he got bit by a dog and they even said that they didn't want to help him! Are we just supposed to ignore this forever?

Hi,

Does the company your Dad works for have something like "Family Responsibility Leave". If he does, then surely he could apply the hours that he needs to take off to fill his responsibility towards you to this leave. Just a thought. Otherwise, what a scary boss. Your Dad deserves better for being such a caring parent.
