| Yahoo! Answers: How do you tell your boss you need to work with someone else bec So I've been working in a doctors office for 3.5 years now as a medical assistant. I have worked with 4-5 docs and never had a problem. We got a new doc in the office and I've been working with him 7 months now. We still can't work well together. He will ask me to do something and literally less than 60 seconds later he will be all anxious and annoyed that I haven't done it yet. I feel like he is never satisfied with anything and expects me to jump at the snap of a finger. Also, everytime something goes wrong he assumes I've done something. He is constantly making accusations and when I confront him he's all like "no no no not at all." I've asked him many times to have some patience when he asks me to do a whole bunch of things at once he can't expect them to be done in 2 minutes. I am a very efficient worker and have always been complimented for that. Also, we the practice is very strict about no overtime and taking a full break and he will constantly harass me on my break and has even stood there huffing and breathing heavy when I'm on a private call during lunch. A doctor even commented once that you shouldn't turn away late patients because you as a doctor don't always run on time and their time is just as valuable and he responded "Oh well I don't agree with that." He totally thinks he's on top of the world and has no respect for me. He talks down to me all the time. How do I tell my boss that I just need to work with another doctor? |
