| Questions: why do people hate narcissist? It's always your ex or annoying coworker. Internet sites tell narcissist to just die. As a covert narcissist myself, it is very sad to hear that I can't change thinking of me all the time. I don't even get to the point of abusing people; just give me a dose of attention and I'll stop my stunts for the month. |

I see nothing wrong with being confident about yourself and to what you do in life. But as long as you are not too confident that you sounded too boastful at times. Being narcissistic is far different from being plain confident. I think people hate narcissistic because they are annoying at times. But well, if you think there is nothing wrong with being one then it is up to you. |
| Is narcissist synonymous with confidence? I am really not against with the idea that many people should be proud of of the achievements they have. I think, the idea that people would love to be in that position is quite interesting. I would love to know the things that triggers many people to know that area. I hope it will be possible to be in that area soon as possible. |
| Why? Because people view them as self-centered jerks. Do not argue back by saying they are just confident of what they have or are. There is a fine line that separate confidence and narcissism. Although you can call a a narcissist confident, a decent confident person knows when to stop and not to go overboard by being to boastful about it. People can sometimes be insecure, and when they can't stand other people talking about themselves, then you can't blame them for wishing them to just die. This is how they roll, which is not good neither. |
| Well narcissists just don't get excellent attention from other so they simply admire themselves for anything they do. Don't get annoyed because they have their own business in life. As long as they don't disturb you or step on your reputation, just leave them by themselves. Otherwise, you'll appear like you are insecure with this co-worker of yours. Just mind your own business and be true to yourself. That's all. Great day to all. |
| Well, I think there is nothing wrong with being a narcissist. It's just that you should know to put it in the right circumstances. And just always bear in mind that aside from you there are also people around you. Furthermore, overconfidence would sometimes denote arrogance for others. So I hope that a narcissist would realize that as well. Thanks. |

Narcissist and being proud of who you are would probably be not synonymous to each other for me. I think those who are proud of themselves would be healthy as long as they do not become much of a narcissist, a person who loves himself so much he / she forgot most important things in life. For me, as long as we know who we are and we accept our ins and outs, then we are very much fine. |
