| Yahoo! Answers: Why would anyone want children? They're too expensive and take up too much time. Babies cry all the time and crap their diapers. Toddlers get into every mess that they can. Kids are just annoying. Teens either hate themselves or become rebellious. College kids drain your bank account. But almost every person I know wants to have kids. Why would any sane person put themselves through this? |

That totaly does not make sense answering people. You think you owe your parents a baby for having you? I suppose though on the other hand those of us that don't have our heads buried into the sand wild be wiped out by natural selection inherently by not having babies. Logic is doomed, unless of course your girl forgot to take the pill that's different. |

It is a natural cycle of life and asking about why do people want to have their own children, is like asking why do we even need to breathe? If you don't like having children then pursue a life of isolation. See if anyone cares. |
| I have to agree with everybody here. Most especially to Vincent. It is sad to have that kind of thoughts in your mind. Kids though at some point are annoying, they are still God's gift to you as a parent and you should take care of them and provide all the things that they need to grow. How old are you Gilma? This is my question to you, Why would any sane person think the way you do? |

So much has been said in here. Most of the people get really emotional with the discussion of how important it is to have a child. It is hard to have a baby especially during these days of hard financial times. But we all have our respective views over certain matters in life. If one wishes to conceived a child and one does not, those are their choice. I bet Gilma somehow have a clue of how important it is to have a child now. |

To add up to the discussion, let me share with you what I believe. I have read somewhere that there are three things that one must do before they die and they are as follows:1. Write a Book. Considered as a form of ultimate Art. 2. Pant a tree. Considered as a Science. 3. Raise a child which is both an Art and Science. Why would I want a child because it is the culmination of my womanhood. To have and raise a child is the ultimate objective in life. |

Having kids for me is like fulfilling my destiny, as a woman. But there are also those women who got pregnant, gave birth and then abandons, harm and abuse their children. It is sad. And so for me, it does not matter if you gave birth to a child or you adopted one. Being a mother is another story. As long as you are being a mother to a child, it does not matter if you gave birth to her or not. |

Kids are our only hope for the future. Obviously the people in power now aren't doing an effective job. Those who will be in power in the near future are our kids.Therefore, it would be a good idea to have plenty of kids and teach them well. Teach them to think for themselves. Teach them to be effective leaders. Teach them to be so opened minded that thinking outside the box is natural, not just a catch phrase used to cover your ignorance. |
