| Canīt understand teenagers!I am middle aged, well, past middle age, really, and I think that I was born in the wrong century. Why? Well, simple, I donīt understand todayīs young people or, in simple language, teengers. In fact, I have a couple of my own. They donīt like anything, donīt study (they get crummy grades!), donīt like anything that their mother serves for dinner (just hamburgers), man itīs a battle. In my teenage days we were at least interested in girls, football, Elvis, all those things. They live in a different planet nowadays. I want some psychologist or shrink to tell me what to do about this. Annoyed! Have a good day! |
| "No need to understand"
There is no need for you to understand teenagers or anyone else. You need only accept them as they are and for who they are. |
| Hi there! Yes, I agree that you shouldn't mind them. For as long as they are not minding you or doing something against you, I think you just have to do your own business. Or better yet, just accept the fact that people change. We are all bound to change. Thank you so much and have a great day to all! |
| I can definitely smell a generation gap. Of course, you can't understand teenagers just as they can't understand you. But you know, even if you don't understand each other, you should at least respect each other's likes and dislikes. Instead of going crazy by trying to understand them, why don't you try to see it their way and think of ways to influence them to at least follow your good examples? |
| I have to agree with all of you guys. I think it would be best if both parties would understand each other. We also got to know the feelings of those teenagers because we also got in the same situation. It would be best if you try to get yourself to the situation as those teenagers so you would know how to deal with them. Thanks a lot and good day to all. |
| "Understanding Teens "
Teens have their own world where they live. And it is crazy to think of teens being too immature and all. For once, we were also in the same stage of life like them. And so, as an adult, we have to understand that they are still young and they need such experiences to be a much better person, for them to grow up. We really have to show our understanding towards them. |
