Why can't I be like Super Nanny?

In a rare moment of peace I turned on the tv the other day to find re-runs of Super Nanny. For me Super Nanny is kinf of like Tony Robbins...some days she really motivates me to be a better person and other days I want to pull off my arm and throw it at the tv because she irritates me so much!

How can she make it look so easy?! I wonder if she actually has any kids herself or if she's one of those self-righteous people that just tells everyone else she knows how to do it better than they do!

I have a nightmare combination of ages of my children at the moment...a 10 year old tween who knows EVERYTHING, a 15 year old boy who is rebelling against anything that moves and a 17 year old daughter who is convinced her mom is totally outdated! I watched Super Nanny control a house of screaming children and reason with a screaming toddler, what is so great about her that she gets it all right?!

I think you are just being too preoccupied by work at home and taking good care of your kids that is why you felt that way. You see we are humans, not super humans and definitely now super nanny. You can do something to make things change. Advices? Do not be annoyed by those advices, they are just advices and you can choose to live with those advices or not, right?
